Job Overview:

The Senior MBS Trader role involves trading and managing MBS related sectors for actively managed Fixed Income Portfolios in Chula Vista, California. The ideal candidate will have experience in Agency MBS, Non-Agency MBS, Credit Risk Transfer (CRT), and Agency CMBS.

Job Details:

The primary responsibilities include identifying relative value opportunities, recommending trades, managing risks, and tracking performance. The role requires running sensitivity and scenario analysis using prepayment models.

• Trade and manage various MBS positions

• Contribute to strategic outlook and suggest positions/strategies

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in a related field, MBA/Masters/Ph.D. preferred
• Prior MBS experience with knowledge of modeling, interest rates, etc.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and macroeconomics
• Detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently
