We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our team in Richmond, Texas. As a key contributor to our operations, you will play a vital role in handling and moving freight efficiently and safely.

Job Details:

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for sorting, handling, loading, and unloading freight using various equipment and tools. This position requires flexibility to work different shifts based on freight volumes.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
• Use motorized and manual equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
• Secure freight inside trailers using proper tools and supplies
• Adhere to company safety policies and work in a safe manner
• Scan and track shipments using mobile handheld devices
• Work on a dock for extended periods under varying conditions

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• Basic math skills with or without a calculator
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Experience in dock or warehouse operations preferred
• Prior forklift experience in a freight or less-than-truckload environment
• Ability to lift and handle various freight items
