Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Driver Trainer to join our team in Hatfield, working on a prestigious logistics contract. As a Driver Trainer, you will contribute to ongoing driver development, training new drivers, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Job Details:

The role of Driver Trainer involves assessing new drivers, promoting safe driving practices, and providing continuous training to existing driving staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assess new drivers and advise on fuel efficiency and safety techniques
• Contribute to the development and implementation of safe driving programs
• Occasional deliveries to customer sites
• Provide ongoing training on new policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Clean UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• Previous experience as a driver trainer/assessor desirable
• Familiarity with current tachograph rules and regulations
• Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office packages
