Job Overview:

We are looking for a Mechanic Apprentice to join our team in **Allen**, **Texas**. As a Mechanic Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in inspecting and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment, forklifts, and trailing equipment.

Job Details:

Minimum qualifications include 1 year of experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair or a technical school degree with certification in heavy-duty truck/trailer maintenance. You must have a valid driver's license and be available to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on heavy-duty diesel equipment
• Apply knowledge and work by DOT, EPA, OSHA, and other regulations
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and prepare documentation
• Repair or rebuild equipment systems
• Ensure the work area is clean, safe, and organized

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent work-related experience
• ASE certifications
• Basic computer and welding skills
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. frequently
